Best hair care tips

Hair care is not a weekend job. You need to spend few minutes regulary to take care of your hair. A regular care will make your hair healthy and shiny.

Never apply extreme hot or cold water to wash your hair

Make sure not to apply extreme hot or cold water to wash your hair. This will damage the health of your hair. Instead, use lukewarm water to wash your hair.

Use mild shampoo to wash your hair

Avoid detergent based commercial shampoo to wash your hair. Instead, go for a suitable mild shampoo. Try to apply shampoo in little quantity on every alternate day or atleast on weekends.

Follow up with a conditioner

After washing your hair with shampoo, follow up with a gentle conditioner. Conditioner makes your hair smooth and easily manageable.

Avoid brushing wet hair immediately after bath

Brushing wet hair damages the hair tissues and this will lead to hair fall at an early age. Apply fingers to manage your wet hair. You can however use a wide-toothed comb gently on your wet hair.

Say no to hair dryer or blow dryer

Never apply hair dryer or blow dryer on to your hair. It absorbs moisture from your hair and makes your hair dry.

Cover your hair while going out in the sun. Otherwise, harmful rays from sun may cause serious damages to your hair. If you like swim, make sure to cover your head with a swimmig cap to prevent your hair getting in contact with the harmful chlorine in the swimming pul or salt in the sea.

Do not forget to apply hair oil at night regularly, before going to sleep. Massage your head with a suitable hair oil to improve the blood circulation in your scalp. A regular massage with hair oil also helps to keep the moisture of your hair.

Follow a healthy diet

Your hair also needs a balanced healthy diet just like your body. Include protein rich foods like eggs, chicken, lean meat, fish, soy products etc. in your diet. Fatty acids also help to retain your hair in good health. Add small amounts of wallnuts, almonds and flaxseed oil in your daily diet. Fish is also a great source of fatty acids. You can make your hair healthy and shiny by taking vitamin B, especially vitamin B6 and B12 supplements. Fruits, vegetables and whole grain foods are rich in vitamin B. A multiple vitamin capsule after breakfast on regular basis may be a good option. You should consult with your doctor before going for it. Make sure you drink atleast 8 to 12 glasses of water daily. Drinking water maintains the blood supply in your scalp and helps to improve the health of your hair overall.

Best hairstyles for men

Men are less bothered about their hairstyles compared to women. They do not realize the fact that a suitable hairstyle can change their overall personality. Here I am discussing about best 4 latest hairstyles. I hope this will help you to choose the right one suitable for you. Make sure to change your hairstyles in every three months or at least once in every six months, to get rid of the same-look boredom.

Slicked Hair With A Side Part
Slicked Hair with A Side Part

It is one of the best classic hairstyles. This style is mostly suitable for men having straight hair. Curly hair people can also give it a try. But they have to straighten their hair by blow-dry job before applying the styling. Instruct your hairdresser to cut the fine hair above the neck and around the ears. You may use a razor at home to trim the hair at end points for more tailored finish. Make sure to follow up with the hairdresser once in every six weeks. This type of hairstyle needs less care. Actor George Clooney is a perfect example donning this hairdo.

Shoulder Length Hairstyle

This one is hot favourite for decades. Shoulder length hairstyle is perfectly suitable for men with long straight hair or have manageable wave. This type of hairstyle needs utmost care. You need to attend a haircut session in every alternate week to maintain the perfect layering. You may apply hair gel or cream to get your desired look in shoulder length hair. Most of the Hollywood celebs have donned this hairstyle at least once in their lives. Even Grecian Gods are famous for their shoulder length hairstyles.

Short Waves or Short Curls
Short Waves or Short Curls

Men with naturally curly hair can opt for this hairstyle. People with wavy hair may also try this. But it is better for people having straight hair to keep distance from it. This hairstyle works best with natural curly hair. Tell your hairdresser to cut hairs shorter on the sides and longer on the top. You should apply a suitable curl control cream to wet hair, especially in the summer season, to get rid of the fizzy ends problem which is very common among curly hair people. You can also manage your hair in better way by applying a suitable curl control cream. Make sure not to apply hardening or strong gel to your curly hair. It will make your hair solidify and looks brittle. You can however use wet gel occasionally.

Undercut Hairstyle

Ask your hairstylist to cut hair shorter on sides and back with a clipper guard and longer on the top. Your hairdresser can however use scissor over comb technique to give it a tailored finish look. You may trim extra short on the sides. Make sure your hair on top remains long. You may apply a suitable gel or hair cream to give your hair the desired shape.
